Thank you for choosing Dumfries Podcast Studio. By booking and using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our studio.

1. Studio Usage Rules

• The studio can only be used when a producer is present in the room.

• We require a producer to ensure quality control and assistance during your recording session.

2. Booking and Cancellations

• All bookings must be made in advance.

• Any bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled recording time are non-refundable.

• Cancellations made 24 hours or more before the scheduled session will be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.

3. Payment Terms

• Full payment must be made in advance of your recording session, at the time of your arrival at the studio.

• Payments can be made by cash.

• We reserve the right to cancel your booking if payment is not received before the scheduled session.

4. Liability

• Dumfries Podcast Studio is not liable for any injuries or damages caused to you or your belongings during your time in the studio.

• You are responsible for your own safety and the safety of others while on the premises.

5. Content Ownership

• Any content you create during your session at Dumfries Podcast Studio is your property.

• Dumfries Podcast Studio reserves the right to include our logo at the end of each recording created in our studio, for promotional purposes.

6. Equipment and Technology

• You are responsible for the care and safe use of all equipment provided by Dumfries Podcast Studio during your session.

• If any equipment is damaged or broken, you will be required to pay for the replacement of the damaged equipment.

7. Code of Conduct

• Hate speech, offensive language, or discriminatory behaviour is strictly prohibited while using the studio.

• No smoking or vaping is allowed within the studio premises.

• No food is allowed in the studio to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the equipment.

• If any of the Code of Conduct rules are violated, you will be asked to leave the premises immediately. In such cases, no refund will be provided, and you will forfeit the remainder of your session time.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

• Dumfries Podcast Studio values your privacy. We will never distribute any content created in our studio without explicit consent from you first.

• All personal and recording data will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

9. Health and Safety

• Dumfries Podcast Studio is located up a flight of stairs, which may present an accessibility issue for some individuals.

• By booking our studio, you acknowledge this accessibility challenge. Please contact us in advance if you have any concerns about accessibility or require accommodations.

10. Force Majeure

• Dumfries Podcast Studio will not be held liable for any delays or cancellations caused by unforeseen events, including but not limited to natural disasters, power failures, or other events beyond our control.
